The French based blog and fellow creative commons enthusiast, @adiffuser, posted a nice review of of our current EP “Just had to let you know”.
From twitter:
Lorenzo’s Music – Just Had To Let You Know (un album libre !) -adiffuser.net/musique/lalbum… #ccmusic #rock @lorenzosmusic

Google Translate doesn’t do the greatest job but here are a few excerpts:
a little bluesy and haunting at the edges. The melodies (vocals and guitars) are able to create an oppressive atmosphere, helped by a very dark saxophone. Another very good way.
..We All Fall Down , probably the best song of this EP brought. I like when a stock reaches up gradually in this way (intro on bass, guitar and then came the voice ... and that eventually the battery to run the piece, then taking off with the arrival of other intruments).
He also played our music on his podcast along with a bunch of other great creative commons music.
Head on over and check it out!

While normally when we get together it’s to work on new songs. Tonight we dusted off some of the old songs from our music library.
We’re getting ready for our show next week at the Great Dane in downtown Madison.
So if you’re in the Madison area on Thursday Dec. 8th, come down to the Great Dane and see us.
A work in progress.
This is just a demo of a song we’re working on. Recorded a second verse for it tonight and thought we’d share.

If you want to look at the making of the song so far you can see what lead up to it on our personal song wiki for this song.
What has to be one of the strangest videos using our music to date, I found this fan video on YouTube by TheBardofNC.
He says it’s a “piece [he] did for a pacing assignment in TV Production class.”
While our song “Just had to let you know” plays in the background he passes the night, drinking, watching tv and of course declares his love for a stuffed animal?
Here’s a recent review from the Those Who Dig mp3 blog.
Weekly Roundup: Nov 13 - 19, 2011 - ThoseWhoDig.net.:
“-Here’s a rocking tune from Lorenzo’s Music called “You Got to Feel it Tonight.” Feels like it could be slotted comfortably with classic rock, with blues, and with those artists that push the boundaries of such genres - a nice mix of the straightforward and some edge.”
Thanks guys!
We love the different ways people use our music for videos.
Here’s one that was posted on YouTube over Halloween, and you know what we realized? Our music works great with a pretty girl modeling costumes!
It’s by AsahiSasaki she shows off some different Halloween costumes to our song “I Won’t Go”.
And she did a second one to the song “I’m Doing Fine” with Disney, comics & movie themed costumes.
Hot damn right?!
