"Friction Called Quest" the fourth for a movie soundtrack project, is a laid-back drum and bass shuffle groove featuring a unique guitar line, bouncing piano, baritone sax, and vocals in a punk blues and lofi rock fusion style. The inspiration for the lyrics came from a poem called "All that time," by May Swenson.
