5 Questions is an interview series by Barbara Fischer a harpist living in Southwest Florida. The interview series involves different people in the music industry and she reached out to us because to learn more about how we have recently made the decision to release albums using only open source technology.

Here is a section from the interview:
Q: What are your favorite open source tools for musicians?

A: As I just mentioned Ardour. It’s what we use to track our recordings it’s a fantastic DAW. Also, there is Gimp and Inkscape for creating designs and KDEnlive for editing videos. Also the mp3 tagging software Kid3 for adding ID3 tags to song files.
