What we've been doing, video shoot & pictures

It's been a few weeks since we released the new single "Picture it all" and the official video.

If you haven't heard about it on our mailing list, facebook, twitter or soundcloud you can listen to the song now.

Originally we released our official concept video of the song on YouTube. A short by creative commons filmmaker Steve Pilling from the Manchester School of Film.

In this recent week, we've been working on a band video version for the song, directed by Spencer Blesi.

Mark with a trail of 2 inch tape behind him

For part of it, Mark had the idea to use some 2 inch reel to reel tape he had around the studio (You can see in the live picture above, some of the machines we got for them). We climbed the side of the studio and unraveled the tape and strung it up on the roof.

It was all a thought Mark had based on a Kurt Vonnegut quote, to do something and see what happens.
“Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.”

The live shots are all edited together, and the rooftop stuff will be added soon and posted when it's ready.

In other news, we've got a new single in the works called "Low".
We plan to have that out in the next couple of weeks too!

Share the music & I'll send out more updates soon.

Until next time.
