Lorenzo's Music on Linux Outlaws Podcast

Just wanted to give a shout to the Linux Outlaws Podcast. I was listening to the recent show, getting my geek on and at the end of it they started talking about us and played out the show to our song “One Time” from our first album.

Listen to the whole episode here:
Linux Outlaws 123 - Simple Doesn’t Equal Shit | Linux Outlaws

It turns out Dan Lynch on the show also has a podcast dedicated to Creative Commons music called Rathole Radio and played the song a week earlier there.

Listen to this show and some great CC license music here:

Check ‘em out! Thanks guys.

Solamente Tres Polabras - Jamendo Fan Review

Jamendo.com is a great site filled with like-minded Creative Commons artists like us. It’s a fan based community, a lot like last.fm but for the artist. You control your musical rights and distribution. But more importantly, it’s fan based.
We’ve been on Jamendo for over a year and are still getting great comments on our albums. Like this one for our 3rd release Solamente Tres Polabras.

"They inspire me...great work. I would like to see them live." - hinkletuttle

Another person saw this review and had to hear what he was talking about and wrote a response of his own.
"Wow-I just had to hear what hinkletuttle was raving about and I have to agree that this group is o-u-t-s-t-a-n-d-i-n-g!" - orangeupurple

Thanks for the reviews, and thanks to all the reviews we've received since we've been on Jamendo.
If you're a band and looking for a place to host your music I highly recomend this site.

Want to check out this album for yourself? You can download it for free or name your own price if you feel generous :)

The Club Tavern - Fri. November 13, 2009

Come see us this Fri. at The Club Tavern!
1915 Branch St, Middleton, WI - map

The night will begin with Tax Brandywine from Indianapolis. They have just completed their first EP under the Tax Brandywine banner entitled “From here to Navy Pier…”. Duncan’s soul-filled intertwining harmonies and rocking guitar solos are reminiscent of the classic sounds of Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, and The Beatles.
Hear songs from the album on their website.

Next up is The Nod. If you haven’t heard of them here’s what Channel3000.com had to say:

Taking its musical cues from bands like Weezer and Cake, the Nod use frontman Brett Newski and Cousin Martin's guitar playing as the abrasive edge to their pop ditties.
