I’ve noticed something recently… A slight resurgence at myspace.
We’ve used myspace since the beginning but as everyone knows it’s slipped as the one stop shop for online friends and free indie music.
Case in point, the last couple of years we would get the occasional message or a post for someone else’s page in our comments but thats about it. No new friends added or real conversations for quite some time. We still posted for the fans that were there so not to leave them out, but overall most communication was coming directly from our site or twitter or facebook.
But in the last couple of months we’ve been contacted on myspace about podcasts, music sharing and even started to get friend requests again (seriously it’s been awhile). Which begs the question: Now that all the user noise has been moved to facebook is myspace more of a focus for music again?
Since most of the talk we’ve been having there is about music I feel that’s the direction the site is heading again, but without the users will it work? You could get lost in all the users talk on their pages. But aren’t they really the ones that make the difference for bands between their day to day posts?
I’m not stating this, I’m asking?
What do you think?

James over at Music Blur took the time to do a post about us and we thought we’d show you what he had to say about our song -
I’m Doing Fine from the album Solamente Tres Palabras.
"This song will get stuck in my head for days on end, but that’s not such a bad thing in this case. I’m Doing Fine is off the album Solamente Tres Palabras which translates to Only Three Words. You can thank my 7th grade Spanish teacher Senora McCoy for that bit of trivia. Oddly enough, every song on the album has only three words in the title. It kind of reminds me of Trashman’s Shoes by Shoulders, but just a tad less drunken carnival like. It’s definitely my favorite tune on the album, but you should check them all out anyway. I mean, it’s free."

The blog mainly posts music videos but as he says on his site, he didn’t want to have to wait for a video and put our song up anyway.
Thanks James!
We had a backlog of photos that Scott had taken and we thought we’d upload them.
There are some shots from our Halloween show at The Frequency with Mad Trucker Gone Mad, as well as some random shots of us in the studio recording. Scott also managed to throw in a pic of him at the aquarium.
You can check them out in our photos section or on our flickr page.
Sure, we’ve had our music licensed as Creative Commons for quite some time now. But we’ve mainly used the non-commercial one. This version meant you could only build upon our work non-commercially.
Now under the Attribution Share Alike license or CC-BY-SA, you can remix, tweak, and build upon our music even for commercial reasons, as long as is credited to us and licensed under the identical terms.
This probably means more to us then it does to you. But it also means you can share our music with anyone for free and not hurt our feelings. :)
As a matter of fact we’re going to help you do that right now:
- Choose one of the albums below.
- Then on the album's page click the "download" link.
- In the pop-up window enter "0" in the price field - or you could donate an amount if you would like. :D
- Enter you friends email and click "submit".
An email will be sent to your friend with a link for the download.
Although you may want to let them know you did this so they don’t get confused.
