We talk about Jon's beginnings in a college band as a guitarist to becoming a full-time musician. Transitioning from traditional studio recordings to home recordings using tools like Ableton.

Jon also talks about new opportunities he's received over the years including sync licensing for TV shows like "American Ninja Warrior" and "Selling Sunset."

We also talk about releasing his music under Creative Commons license allowing his music to reach wider audiences and be featured in various multimedia projects, from short films to travel vlogs. 

The episode also touches on the challenges of touring, booking shows, his experiences organizing them, and the eventual decision to focus more on music production and less on constant touring. 

Jon recently released a new album, "Barely Here," which he successfully funded through a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. The album is available on vinyl, a medium Jon has long admired for its tangible, artistic appeal.
